The Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Bilberry Park Community Center will host a “Pretty Girls Rock!: Etiquette Lessons for Girls” from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the center located at 1902 Alabama Street.

Master landscaper to speak in Master Gardener series

The Louisiana Master Gardeners Horticulture Series has invited landscape architect Marc Funderburk to speak from 10 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, Feb. 20, Riverview Hall, 600 Clyde Fant Parkway. The lecture is free.

Cinderella Project asking for used prom dresses

The Cinderella Project of Shreveport is asking folks to donate prom dresses during the group's January Dress Drop-Off Event. The Cinderella Project collects the dresses and distributes them to women who cannot afford one.

Fashion show coming to Bilberry Park Community Center

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Bilberry Park Community Center along with the Bilberry Park Advisory Council, presents its “Summer Fashion Show &
Talent Extravaganza” from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the center, located at 1902 Alabama Street.

Admission to the event is free. Door prizes will be awarded and refreshments served.
