Storm damage, flooding, a large-scale accident - these are just a few of the things emergency responders need to prepare and constantly train for.

The Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (CBOHSEP) is offering a three-hour Emergency Preparedness training course from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30 at the Bossier Emergency Operations Center, 1511 Doctor's Drive in Bossier City. The training is free but participants must be 18-years-old or older.

The training will include how emergency response agencies work together in a disaster, plus individual & family emergency preparedness skills such as family disaster kits, tornado safe areas, and basic precautions to prepare a home for severe weather.
