Education and Career Fair aimed at helping youth | Business

St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and Southern University in Shreveport have come together to host an Education and Career Fair, taking place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 26 at the Jesse N. Stone Lecture Hall on the Southern University campus, 3050 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

Education is the most valuable asset for succeeding in today's workplace.  This Education and Career Fair is designed to equip our students by providing them a comprehensive overview of educational and career opportunities offered throughout our region. We also want our youth to understand the importance of early planning for their career paths. We have invited Business and College representatives to come and talk with our youth about their education and careers.

Youth will spend time talking to representatives about the skills, training, salary and other aspects of various professions.  Also college representatives will give the youth information concerning requirements for college.
