Dr. Halim Abou-Faycal joins NW La. Infectious Disease Consultants | Business

Halim Abou-Faycal, MD, has joined Raymond A. Coghlan, MD, FRCPC, FIDSA, and J. Michel El-Hayek, MD, at Northwest Louisiana Infectious Disease Consultants located in Suite 150 of the WK Medical Arts Building, 2551 Greenwood Road in Shreveport. Dr. Abou-Faycal comes to Willis-Knighton from private practice in Tennessee.

Dr. Abou-Faycal earned his medical degree from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed an internal medicine internship at the same school. After medical school, he completed a residency at James H. Quillen Veterans Administration Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tenn.

He was fellowship trained in infectious diseases at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. 
He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
