It's carnival season in Louisiana, and the revelry has reached all the way to Providence House. On Monday, Feb. 11, the children of the Providence House Child Development Center are throwing their third annual Mardi Gras Parade, "Cirque de Soliel."

The parade will feature four krewes: Lord of the Rings Krewe; Krewe of Baby Town Clowning Around; Krewe of the Wild; and Krewe of Toddlerville, The Masquerade Ball. The parade will be include floats, throws and a king and queen.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. the parade will travel up and down the 800 block of Cotton Street. The public is invited to attend to celebrate Mardi Gras with the children of Providence House.
