SPAR announces winter camps | Arts & Culture

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation Winter Camps for youth will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 24, Dec. 26 - 31, and Jan. 2 - 4 at each of SPAR's community centers.

Youth between age 6 and 11 and teens between age 12 and 17 participate in activities including exercise, games, field trips, and arts and crafts. Some centers also offer tennis and weightlifting.

Space is limited and is filled on a first come, first served basis. Pre-registration for the camps is required. Current enrollees in the SPAR After-School Program receive preference. Registration has begun for the camps.

Enrollment is free. Participants must bring a lunch. Snacks are provided.
